About Me
My name is Val Gregor, I live in Cornwall and established my specialist medical transcription company in 2006. I qualified as a Medical Secretary in 1983 and have worked in the NHS at Consultant level in various specialities such as orthopaedics, renal, haematology, urology, gynaecology, cardiology and vascular. I have also worked at every level of secretarial support in private industry, up to Personal Assistant to Managing Directors.
I am a qualified IT Trainer (PGCE - Further, Adult & Higher Education, Manchester Metropolitan University 2001) and have mainly taught the European Computer Driving Licence qualification. I also gained the Advanced ECDL qualification and therefore possess an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.

Some doctors like to use large companies to transcribe their work, but as I run VG Secretarial Services from home, employ no staff and do not subcontract you can be sure that you will receive a personal service with no hidden costs. I have no children at home so there will be no delays of work due to issues concerning childcare etc.
