Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DO I GET MY DICTATION TO YOU?
Transcription is carried out only via digital means only but I can receive your dictation in .wma, .dss, ds2, mp3 or .wav formats via an email attachment or securely via Send This File (you do not need an account with them). All transcriptions are returned via email as an attachment or can be sent via Send This File with password protection.
I HAVE A COMPANY LOGO, WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT IT ADDING TO ANY WORK?
Just send it to me as a .jpeg or .gif and I will add it to your letter.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT YOU'VE UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO?
Once a job has been discussed I send you a Service Contract that details what is to be done, as I have understood it. There is space for you to make any amendments, additions or deletions. You sign it and send it back to me. No work will be undertaken until we are both sure what is being done. If there are any changes to a job whilst it is being done, a new Service Contract is issued. If you intend to send work on a regular basis, only one Service Contract will be issued.
WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY?
Any work sent to me will only be kept on the computer for as long as the job takes and will not be passed on to any other third party without your consent. If you want me to sign a Confidentiality Agreement before commencing work, then I would be more than happy to do so.
WHAT IF THERE ARE ANY MISTAKES THAT NEED TO BE RECTIFIED?
It is the responsibility of the client to proofread completed work. If I make any errors in typing and I am made aware of it within 48 hours of the work being received by you, it will be rectified without incurring any further charges.
